Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. Dalai Lama XIV  (via awelltraveledwoman)

You tried to change, didn’t you? Closed your mouth more, tried to be softer, prettier, less volatile, less awake…You can’t make homes out of human beings. Someone should have already told you that.

My new nightly workout routine:
Riding my stationary bike while playing Super Mario.
Chyeah.

Chopped my hair off! It’s going to be super short when I wear it curly. Kind of digging it though.

Most of the time when I see “thinspo” or whatever on Tumblr it’s pictures girls take of themselves, with half their body showing. They’ll have stick thin legs and a basically non-existent stomach. And then girls/women will comment and say, “Oh my gosh, I want to kill myself.” “I look so fat compared to her.” “I wish my legs were that tiny.” “Where’s my thigh gap?” (All comments I’ve read).

Most of the time, those pictures are of tweens. As you get older, more than likely your body will change. You’ll probably develop curves.
STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO CHILDREN.

Embrace your body because no two bodies are the same. And that’s a beautiful thing. How boring would it be if we all looked the same? So whether you’re super skinny or super curvy, or anywhere in between: you are beautiful.
